How are the goods packaged?

The goods are delivered in individual parts, partially assembled or fully assembled.

The pieces of furniture are packed on pallets and secured with foil. Chairs and smaller furniture are usually shipped partially assembled in a box - they only need to be unpacked and assembled in a few simple steps.

How long is the delivery time?

The usual delivery time is 5 to 6 weeks. You will be informed of the exact delivery time with your order confirmation. For urgent projects, please contact us in good time: we will then check whether it is possible to shorten the delivery time for your project.

What is the delivery process and what does it involve?

Single chairs and small parts are usually delivered by parcel service or forwarding agent. In this case, the delivery point is behind your front door. Bulky items or several items as well as larger orders are usually delivered by truck. In this case, the place of delivery is the kerbside. The unloading point must be easily accessible for the truck.

You have the option of booking a loading device with your order. The loading device can be a tail lift or a forklift truck. If you have booked a loading device, the driver of the freight forwarder will unload the truck. He will unload the goods free kerbside at your disposal.

What does "supplied with charger" mean?

The term "loading device" refers to a forklift truck or tail lift that can be used at the delivery location. The truck that delivers your furniture then has a tail lift or forklift on board. The truck driver is responsible for unloading the furniture, not for transporting it to the construction site.

Most parcels are too big to be moved by muscle power!

A loading device is not part of the standard equipment when ordering the furniture delivery - so please book the loading device required for your location!

What does "supplied without charger" mean?

Without loading equipment: The truck delivers your furniture without loading equipment (e.g. tail lift or forklift). The recipient is responsible for unloading the truck and transporting all the freight from the truck to the destination.

In this case, please make sure you have a loading ramp with a pallet truck or a forklift with driver!

Can I collect my order myself?

Of course, you can also collect your ordered goods from us yourself or through your own service provider by prior arrangement.

What is the transfer of risk?

If you have ordered the furniture including delivery, the transfer of risk takes place at the place of delivery of the goods. If you collect your order yourself from our warehouse, the transfer of risk takes place at the ramp of the mann Objecta warehouse.

Please note that the collector bears full responsibility for securing the load and checking the items for visible damage. If you wish to organize delivery with your own logistics partner, please ensure that they are aware of the transfer of risk and responsibility for checking the goods on collection.

Is my location ready for delivery?

You must ensure that your location is suitable for the use of all ordered elements. Detailed information about weights or required connections can be found in the catalog. If you are not sure, ask your architect or book an actual measurement.

Who is responsible for the electrical connections?

The buyer must provide all sockets and electrical connections that are required in the correct places. Please contact us if you have any questions about the items in this regard. The buyer is responsible for the connection work. We strongly recommend that this work, as well as the laying of cables and connections, is carried out by a qualified electrician.

How is the delivery checked for damage on delivery?

Make sure that any damage or complaints are noted on the delivery bill in the presence of the driver. If you cannot be present at the delivery yourself, please ensure that a responsible person is informed about the inspection of the delivery for visible damage.

What does the installation service mean?

If you book the assembly of your furniture in addition to your order, you will receive the goods fully assembled on site. This includes transportation of the furniture within the building, unpacking and professional assembly at the destination.

Who is responsible for disposing of the packaging material?

The recipient is responsible for disposing of all packaging material and returning it correctly to the recycling cycle.

How long is the warranty?

The warranty period for all büro Project furniture is 2 years, swivel chairs of the Dauphin brand 5 years, for seating furniture and electronic parts such as screens, power boxes, etc., it is 1 year.

How is the furniture assembled and maintained?

Within what period must the order be called off?

If you wish to order in advance, please bear in mind that your order must be called off within 2 months of the time of ordering. It will be made especially for you or stored for you in our warehouse. If your furniture remains in our warehouse for longer, storage costs will apply.

What is the procedure for a postponed delivery?

If the agreed delivery date is postponed by the buyer, notification is required 14 days in advance. If notification is given later than 14 days in advance, the costs incurred for canceling and restocking the items will be charged. Please inform your contact person at mann Objecta immediately if delivery to your location is not possible as planned. The costs for storage and redelivery are significantly higher than the cancellation costs.

Why is most of the furniture already pre-assembled?

Most büro Project furniture is delivered to the customer fully assembled. This pre-assembly reduces the assembly time on site to a minimum and can usually be carried out by the customer themselves. Additional equipment and a professional assembly team should only be booked for very large elements.

The 2-year guarantee on wooden furniture, 5-year guarantee on swivel chairs, and the 1-year guarantee on seating furniture and electronic components covers the material and surface quality, the function of moving parts and the professional workmanship of the product. An essential part of the warranty is the professional assembly of the furniture in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Careful vertical and horizontal alignment of the furniture is important. Insufficient alignment makes it difficult or impossible to adjust and align doors and drawers correctly. For safety reasons, all anti-tip devices, locks and catches must be fitted. No liability is accepted for damage caused by incorrect assembly, improper handling or failure to follow the assembly instructions.

  • Schäden, die durch natürliche Abnutzung, Verschleiß, sonstige Umwelteinflüsse wie extreme Trockenheit oder Feuchtigkeit, Temperatur, Licht, Witterung, unsachgemäße Behandlung, mutwillige Zerstörung, Missbrauch, Transport- und Unfallschäden oder Überlastung/ Überbeanspruchung einzelner Möbelteile verursacht werden.

  • Die unsachgemäße Behandlung der Oberflächen mit ungeeigneten Reinigungs- oder Pflegemitteln sowie eigene Reparatur- und Instandsetzungsversuche führen zum Erlöschen der Gewährleistung.

  • Die Gewährleistung beschränkt sich auf Neuware ab dem Zeitpunkt der Auslieferung der Ware ab Werk.

  • Material- und Farbabweichungen werden von uns vor der Verarbeitung geprüft. Verbleibende Abweichungen im Rahmen der üblichen und zumutbaren Berücksichtigung der Toleranzen stellen keinen Mangel dar.

Recognizing and acting correctly in the event of transport damage

Alle Artikel und Sendungen werden bei uns kontrolliert, sorgfältig verpackt und für die Erfassung des Warenausgangs fotografiert. In seltenen Fällen kann es dennoch vorkommen, dass Artikel einer Sendung beschädigt ankommen oder fehlen. Es ist daher wichtig, dass Sie die ankommende Lieferung sofort sorgfältig überprüfen:

  • Ist der Karton/ die Folie/ die Palette/ das Möbelstück ramponiert oder gequetscht oder in sonstiger Weise beschädigt?

  • Ist die Lieferung gemäß Begleitpapieren vollständig?

Wenn Waren offensichtlich beschädigt sind oder fehlen, machen Sie bitte umgehend Fotos von der beschädigten Ware (verpackt & unverpackt), vermerken die Beschädigungen auf den Lieferdokumenten und lassen diese vom Fahrer abzeichnen - und melden Sie den Sachverhalt sofort an mann Objecta:

For delivery by a shipping company or forwarding agent

mann Objecta only ships goods with selected and experienced carriers. In the event of obvious transport damage, it is advisable to unpack the shipment in the presence of the driver responsible for the delivery and to note and sign the damage on the delivery bill, stating the date and time. The registration number of the delivery vehicle must also be noted.

For delivery by a courier or parcel service

Wenn die Verpackung offensichtlich von außen beschädigt ist, verweigern Sie die Annahme der Lieferung vollständig.

Falls die Lieferung dringend benötigt wird, vermerken Sie den Schaden unbedingt unter Angabe von Datum und Uhrzeit auf dem Lieferschein. Bitte nehmen Sie sich die Zeit, die Lieferung im Beisein des Zustellers zu überprüfen. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie eine Quittung über eventuell fehlende Artikel erhalten haben.

In jedem Fall gehen Sie vor wie folgt:

  • Vermerken Sie alle Schäden und fehlenden Artikel und lassen Sie sich vom Fahrer eine Bestätigung (Unterschrift) geben.

  • Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Waren und die Verpackung nicht augenscheinlich verändert wurden.

  • Benutzen Sie KEINE beschädigten Waren.

  • Melden Sie alle Schäden sofort bei mann Objecta.
Liability insurance and transport damage?

Obvious transport damage

Obvious transport damage is deemed to exist if the outer packaging is obviously creased or crushed, torn or damaged in any other way.

Obvious transport damage must be reported immediately in writing to mann Objecta:

In the case of damage that is already visible on the outside, it is advisable to open the shipment in the presence of the deliverer. Make sure that there is no hidden damage to the shipment. In particular, check whether the goods are damaged or whether/which items or parts of the items are missing.

With their signature, the recipient not only confirms acceptance of the goods, but also that the external condition of the packaging is in order and has no obvious defects. It is therefore important that you draw up a damage report in the event of transport damage. List all damage to the packaging and the delivered items. List all missing items. Photos of damaged items/shipments have proven to be very useful evidence. Please take such photos.

Alternatively, you can of course also refuse acceptance at any time due to damage to the delivery.
